When you attend our office to execute purchase, sale or refinance documents please bring the following with you to the appointment:
- 1. Two pieces of valid identification. One piece must be picture identification such as a passport or driver's licence. The other piece can be a credit card or social insurance card. Please note we can no longer accept Alberta Health Care cards as identification as many lenders are now rejecting these as a form of identification they will accept.
- 2. For a purchase or refinance: The cash difference amount by way of certified cheque or bank draft. This amount will be provided to you prior to your appointment.
- 3. The insurance binder (if we have not already received it).
NOTE: If anyone listed on the purchase contract or new mortgage is unable to attend our office for the execution of the documents, please contact our office well in advance of the closing date so we may find a solution that will not delay closing.
